Guest oscar
Hello I have shot some stuff at 30 fps for it looking at "normal" speed, this was done to do some f/x on post production with cgi animated graphics,. there is a scene with audio lip sync that was shot also at 30 fps, should this be transferred at 30 fps to keep the normal speed issue and the sync audio? or should it be transfered at 24 fps? Would appreciate opinions on this subject Thank you very much indeed Oscar
Premium Member Kevin Zanit Posted January 10, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted January 10, 2004 Transfer at 30fps if you want it to look/ sound "normal". If you were to transfer at 24 your motion would be slightly slowed down. Kevin Zanit
jean-louis
If you want to keep the lip sync, always transfer at the same speed you shot, no matter if it's 10, 24, 29.97, 30, 75 or 500fps. This works if you're final product is video. If you're shooting for the screen, the only way to keep lipsync is shooting on 24fps.
