Achim Girnth
Dear colleagues, I am shooting a documentary in Montana on the 24th till 26th Oct., in NYC starting the 28th Oct. and in Baltimore starting the 2nd of November. I am looking for a rental company that can deliver some light (redheads, blondes, maybe HMI additional), grip equipment AND IF POSSIBLE: a rental company, which can supply a PAL (!) SDX 900. (2nd Cam) I would highly appreciate any information... Thanks a lot Achim

Charles Haine
I bet you end up getting all your gear from the east coast, but if you can't find anything in Montana (which is pretty likely), check out Salt Lake City, which is in Northern Utah, or Denver, Colorado. Jon Rosenbloom
You might try PAL TV East in New York.
George Lekovic
If you don't need much stuff, check out Film Friends 16 E17th Street 212 620 0084 Small and flexible rental house. Guest Mike-In-MT
In Montana, your best bet (and only bet actually) is here. This links to their website which has a full breakdown of their equipment, which is quite a bit, rates and whatnot. They're located in Bozeman, which is also home the MSU Film School and they are always lots of able bodies looking for work. Good luck and I hope this helps. Premium Member Frank Barrera Posted October 14, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted October 14, 2005 Last month I wanted/needed an SDX 900 Pal version and was told by everyone from PalEast to All Mobile Video that there is no Pal version of the camera yet in NYC. Good luck Frank Barrera
