Premium Member Sean Cheung Posted June 21, 2023 Premium Member Share Posted June 21, 2023 With the recent addition of gyro data to R3D files using Komodo, I've downloaded Gyroflow and want to see how the stabilisation compares to what is found elsewhere (Davinci, Premier, AE). I just shot a quick test clip using a Zeiss Otus 28mm and loaded it into Gyroflow. It asks for the lens profile, but it's not available in the drop down. I've considered this before and wonder; are there existing lens profiles out there that one can just download? Or do I need to shoot a test screen and create my own profiles based on individual copies of the lenses I own?
Premium Member Sean Cheung Posted June 21, 2023 Author Premium Member Share Posted June 21, 2023 Actually just found there is a handy calibration tool within the Gyroflow software. It involves shooting a small video clip of a test chart pattern from various angles, and then uploading that clip. Very cool!
