Hi, I am about to make a purchase of an 8mm for a small surf film I want to put together. It's all going to be in natural light. What kind of 8mm camera do you recommend for beautiful colors, and that nice home movie look (or is that films stocks job) basically I want to shoot in ambient light is the bolex pailard good? Nizo 4080? or cannon xl? What do you recommend? I could use all the help I can get. i have never shot on 8mm. so it will be my first.

I am about to experiment shooting in 8mm. So I need to purchase an 8mm camera. What kind should I get or what should I look for when I am purchasing. is there a name brand that i should look for? Does it have to be pricey?
and what kind of film goes with 8mm? It will be all ambient lighting.
Thank you! all the information I could get will be helpful.

I am planning on shooting in 8mm and 16mm for my sisters wedding. I am about to take class this summer introducing the bolex. So should I or should I not get a bolex? I don't know what kind of camera to invest in. I was a camera AC for the ARRi SR2 it was amazing. but i think it's too big for a wedding what do you think? I will rent.
and what kind of film should I use for 8mm and 16mm. I like the really saturated look. it's really nice. for 16mm
and would I be able to be hand held through out the whole thing. I would I need to experiment first. HEr wedding isn't till October so I have plenty of time. I just want to experiement now before I take the film class in July.

Wedding 16mm
in 16mm
have you any experience shooting a wedding in 16mm? Should I go bolex or ARRi? what is the difference?
I am shooting one this year. and I wanted to know
if the Arri SR1 would be a good camera. If I should have a steady cam? go hand held or on a tripod.
Also what film would you recommend?
bolex pailard vs. nizo 4080 vs. canon xlr

i am looking for a camera that has a good lens that shoots good in low light and is easy to use.
Do you got any suggestions?
I've checked out the bolex pailard and there are so many kinds and types which do you recommend. Would it serve the purpose of shooting in natural light?
nizo 4080 this seems like great german camera.
canon xlr what about this one.
