  1. I like the color and some of the shots,

but some of the stuff looked really flat, and I think a side light would make the difference

    Still great work

Thank you for your advice, maybe next time I can think about that.

But in Taiwan, many cases we make with low low budget, and we need cahnge 5 to 8 location in one day like this project , and many footage I did not put on my website.

Not sure about Edith Piaf but the rest was gorgeous. Was that duotone look done in post or with yellow filters? I loved the natural look (not sure about all the flashes seemed a bit over the top after a while ) That last shot of the girl was beautiful.

    my compliments!!

    Kieran.

    THANK you!

The duotone look we do that by telecine with 2K PLUS system, and we continuously push the start button make the camera run and stop cause the flash!

  3. Hi.

Could I find more morden or normal viewfinder? Because when I rotate the finder and the image what I see is change!

  4. AATON ALCAN MOTOR

    24/25 fps crystal

    $500 + shipping

This is buried in another listing, but I thought I should list it separately, since I had a number

of folks on the forum asking me if I would sell my Alcan separate from a package I was selling.

Does this one have variable speed and running for eclair NPR?

Could I DIY to set it up?

  5. I got a Eclair NPR 16mm camera yestoday, but the motor is brake.

I seach a lot info from google, and ask many company which making crytal motor like TCS, bit they are all not continuted to make motor. Could anyone can give me the info to find the motor for NPR?

  6. Could anyone tell me what the difference between Eclair ACL and NPR?

they look very similar and I want to know which one is good for recording sound fiction movie?

  7. 16mm soundtracks are mono, if you want a stereo track you would be looking at making a 35mm print. This can be done from a 16mm negative, Mind you most theatres with 35mm equipment are probably ONLY set up for a wide screen format, so if your 16mm is not in super 16, you will probaly end up having to crop your image.

All what you said I understand, but in my country super 16 transfer to 35mm print is very expensive about 303 US dollors per minutes. So, I am searching the cheaper way to make a print for some festival!

  8. sorry,my .Mac space data usage is too high, so they close my website.

If you want to see you can send E-mail to me.

And I will mail photos to you.

I couldn't see the link and I would really like to see it. Am I the only one who can't do that? Hope you can help!
  9. When my MD come back to me I will do more accurate test with film and professional microphone.

And I think the tripod is OK for Bolex operation.

Assuming the blimp incorporates velcro, could you "quietly" unflap part of blimp during your test, sort of an "on off, on off" motiff? I like the white, although it will get dirty at some point but it probably keeps the camera cooler for location work. Have you done tests with filters that might deaden any sound that would come through the lens itself? Do filters help reduce lens noise any signficant amount?

I'm skeptical that is the actual tripod you use with the camera, that's got to be an accident waiting to happen.

  10. That's pretty cool Hau-Jou. I tried to make a blimp for a Bolex EBM about five years ago and it was a dismal failure. Your's looks like it might actually work pretty well. How much does it quiet down the camera?

    -Tim

As my test, the noise is a little bit louder than my powermac G5's fans in a small room in night.

But a little noise I record could be easy to reduce by Soundtrack Pro, and don not influence the human voice.

I am trying to reduce the less noise by covering the close-grained and light cloth on my blimp.

  11. OK, I had changed the display name.
