I already noticed the problem you said. The reason of that problem is the position between claw and shutter getting wrong, and I had repaired the problem, we will shoot more shots next week and will put the final version here, hope the camera is OK next time.

Does anyone know how to make the Bolex RX5 with ESM motor to sync sound? I am trying to reduce the noise from the camera and motor, and making the blimp by myself. Does anything I have to pay attention to making blimp? So, does anyone use the blimp from Bolex company? and how is the effect to reduce the camera noise? Another question is the camera noise have been redused on Bolex EBM or EL model, or the same with the RX5 model? Thanks a lot!

I heard about Arriflex is a very noisy camera? What do you think aboout it? Does it louder than Bolex? I have a Beaulieu R16, when I tested in my school with Bolex, they all run in 24fps, but R16's sound is louder than Bolex.

And could anyone or any place could change the Bolex which only use 100 feet film to use 400 feet magzine?

But I have another question, some type BOLEX have variable shutter, what that mean? it can change three mode only, how does it work? and will make some effect on image? Is that like change shutter angle? And does BOLEX has mirror shutter like Arriflex or not? Thank you.

This footage shoot by R16, but through telecine convert to DV tape, so the image look a little digital. The Audio capture by Panasonic AG-DVX100,I shoot this footage with R16 and DVX100 at the same time. In Final Cut Pro, I use R16 Video Track and DVX100 Audio, and that is the footage I shown on my website.

Does anyone where could fix Beaulieu R16 in the world? or where can convert R16 to super 16mm format?

Thank you! Because I want to buy it to sync the sound, my short movie need some dialogue anyway. I try to test my R16 on 24fps without Crystal Motor, but it cause some deviation when I sync the sound in my editing software.

According to make my Beaulieu R16 sync the sound correctly, I found the crytal control unit for R16. But I never hear about this product in my contry. I have three battery, but they are come from different place. But today, when I test my R16 I find some interesting situations. Because when I put my camera on tripod and don't touch it, it could make the tachometer needle on the 24fps point. But I move the camera when camera running, the tachometer needle would swing again. Is it normal? And Could you tell me where can check my R16 or fix it. I live in Taiwan, it's a island near China.

I running it about 40 secs. But tachometer needle swing all the time.

My R160 Arrived yesterday.When I charged up all battery, I test the filming speed frist. But something confuse me, because the manual said if I want to shoot in 24fps, set the filming speed converter switch in the right hand position(24/25fps),depress the release button and turn the filming speed control knob until the tachometer needle lies strictly on the green dot on the upper scale. But when I load film in camera, after I dpress release button and shoot. The tachometer needle will swing all the time. What happen to my R16?

I use Macintosh computer, and one software called Compressor that combine in Final CUT PRO. It has a type called H.264 Streaming, that could make the quilty better than MPEG2 before. My trailer is about 2.9MB.
