  1. This ebay listing has ended, the package will now be available through this forum. new pics added and 3,600ft of 7212. I shoot mainly ektachrome now and it's more convenient to use the XTR. I am the original owner and purchased it new from Abel Cine. It has only been used on a handful of my short films and 1 feature. It has never been rented out or used on anyone else's film ,strictly a personal camera. PM or email any questions or to arrange a test. thanks

    $8900

  4. Just wondering if anyone knows where I could see the Kodak EKTACHROME 100D Color Reversal Film / 7285 (16mm) in action. Does anyone have some footage online? I can't seem to find any and I'd really like to see what it looks like (or even comparable film stocks) before I dive into it.

I've got a few clips, some s-16 some regular16, corrected and uncorrected on my website, email me and can give you more specifics(which parts of which films etc, lighting setups etc) www.tomandsamara.com

  5. Hey John

    thanks for all the info.

Do you know if Sundance accepts miniDV for their shorts?

It did not say anything about the format on their website.

If you don't mind sharing, which festivals did you submit?

    thanks so much,

Sundance and most of the US major fests will accept films regardless of what they originate on, if selected to Sundance you just have to provide either an HD version or a film print of your film. for most other fests digibeta versions will do. premiere status for a short is not a deal breaker, it's different with features.I've screened at sundance 2008,2009 afi 2007, 2008, cinevegas 06,07,08 and sxsw 2008

    Hi folks,

As an 1st AC for the job, shooting super-16 format using the zeiss 11-110 (Super 16) zoom, I found out the by engaging the macro, i could see the edge of the lens at the 4 corners of the frame. I would like to know if the macro system in the lens can be use to shoot on Super-16 format ??

    Thanks
