  2. Could you send me some pictures of your camera i'm very interested in it.
  3. haha Sorry i just realized you are a technician of them. Thanks for the reply
  4. so there aren't any camera repairmen (i know the company is out of business) that can replace it or anything?
  5. It seems like i read somewhere that some CP gsmo's have problems with their circuit boards or internal workings that need to be replaced. I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything. Anyone know anything about this? true? false? Thanks.
  6. What is the sound base on this camera? I am unfamiliar with that?
  7. I've got a good R16 i bought about a year ago with 200ft mag, battery and charger, and pilote sync tone generator i'd be willing to part with. I haven't tested the tone generator but everything else works well. I shot 100ft of test roll through it and the image came back great. The battery is only a year old as well. Let me know if you are interested.
  8. What would this discount price be perhaps?
  9. Hey i'm looking at selling my Beaulieu R16, I purchased it right around a year ago. I recently shot 100ft test roll through it and the image came back great. It has a 200ft mag. in good condition (label missing but thats only for aesthetics). It has a 60Hz crystal pilote generator, 12.5mm 1:1.3 Computar lens ( not the best i know), rand new in the box Fujinon 1:1.8 TV lens. New battery and charger about 1 year old. What do you guys think? do you need pictures? There are a couple of slight scratches to the outside (normal wear and tear) other than that everything is working smoothly and good according to what i've seen testing the camera. Any ideas of a price range i should look at? Thanks. -Scott

  11. Thanks for all the help and advice about name changing and lenses as you can tell i'm new to the boards
  12. Hi. I'm relatively new to mid-range film making. ( I know this is lower end to some of you but bear with me). I am looking into a Cinema Products cpr16 or an eclair acl but the lens issue is kind of troubling me. It seems like the only lens I can get i'll have to drop some serious cash ($500+, again serious to me) to fit the proper mounts on these cameras. I've seen some talk about c-mounts. Are these the same c-mounts that cameras like beaulieu r16's use? The tv type lenses? Can you use those lenses on an ACL or CPR16? What are some cheaper options for lens? are there any cheap options? I know image quality is big and you have to shell out some bucks for it but can anyone please help with some advice? Thanks -Scott
