HI/LO FILM FESTIVAL 2006 Call For Entries!
If you've got a high-concept/low-budget film that San Francisco and the world needs to see...send it to us!
Hi/lo is entering it's ninth annual season and we want to see your film.
The festival will screen in San Francisco & Oakland in the spring of 2006 and then will tour the country, films accepted into the festival will also be considered for inclusion on our 2006 hi/lo film festival DVD. So, if you're a high concept-low-budget filmmaker whose films really ought to be seen by more people, then: SEND US YOUR FILM!

The 8th hi/lo Film Festival is coming up April 14-17 at the Red Vic in SF and the Parkway Theater in Oakland.
This annual celebration of high concept/low budget cinema has been going on since 1997 and this year over 40 films from around the world will be shown that prove that when it comes to making a good movie big imaginations are more important than fat wallets.

San Francisco Magazine says the hi/lo one of SF's 'Top 5 Must Do Film Festivals' and Flavorpill.com said: "A rollicking good time is virtually guarenteed." There are dozens of whacked out short films and don't miss the hi/lo screening of the ultimate documentary on SF's graffiti history: ?Piece by Piece? on Saturday April 16 at 7:15 at the Red Vic.

High Concept / Low Budget - because $40 million can kill a good idea.
The hi/lo film festival has been presenting film you won?t see at the multiplex in San Francisco since 1997.
We accept films under 30 minutes in any genre, shot on any format ? narratives, docs, experimental, animation, music video, bring it on!
