I think that maybe the same camera as CHINON 255XL DIRECT SOUND.
The battery of the exposure meter is "4SR44".

Hello,
Is it Super 8?
I think that it is 8mm video camera.
In the site of Canon, there is information on all cameras.

Hi, Joe
Most 8mm cameras are 150~160 degree.
And the "XL" camera is 210~230 degree.
There is information in the site of Canon.
www.canon.com/camera-museum/camera/index.html
There is a camera not put on the market in Japan either, and it is interesting.

Hi, Kristian
Super16 Negative area --- 12.35 x 7.5mm
a-cam dII is smaller than Super16.
The lens of Standard16 might be able to be used.
List of size...

Hello, Joe
A shutter angle of the Auto Zoom 518 is 160 degrees.
"Slow Motion" is about 40fps.
18fps --- 1/40.5
40fps --- 1/90
There is a little loss because it divides light into the finder with the prism.
About 1/3 Stop.
Please correct shutter speed of the exposure meter or ASA.
Good luck!

RICOH 800Z manual needed
in Super-8
Posted
Hi Erkan
I have the RICOH 800Z.
(I do not have a manual...It might be possibly on my bookshelf. However, it is written in Japanese...)
800Z has the power switch for the motor(AA x4) and the power switch for the exposure meter(H-2D 2.6V).
It is necessary to switch both ON(or OFF).
I write the manual in English.
Please wait for several days.
