  1. All cameras are in full working condition, film tested. For photos or questions please PM me.

The ZM2 has been serviced in Sweden by Bjorn in May 2010.

It comes with big alu case and MANY accesories.

The 6008s has digital frame counter and many accesories too.

    The Canon comes alone!

The only reason for selling is...I need a Leica M7!

Serious filmakers only. No silly offers, I paid a lot for them.

    George

  2. I have some Beaulieu cameras for sale:

    1. Beaulieu ZM

    2. Beaulieu ZM4

    3. Beaulieu 6008s

    4. Beaulieu 6008s

The cameras are all mine and include many extras. If there is an interest I will upload photos to photobucket.

Both ZM cameras come with recelled batteries. One 6008 has a recelled battery pack too. Prices start at 250 $US and end at 400 $US for the last 6008 which has an aluminium case, etc, etc.

Let me know if you are interested and I'll send photos and details.

    George

  3. George,

I saw you selled two Beaulieu 6008s. I would like to buy one too. Do you still have?

    thanks

    Hi Rodolpho,

I have 6 more 6008, 7008 pro cameras but unfortunatelly these are not for sale.

Besides, most of them are with modifications, expensive lenses, etc, so their prices are way too expensive!

For example, I have a Beaulieu 7008 PRO II that costed me 2000 $US...

  4. To avoid misunderstandings:

I tested the camera, it runs very smooth and I mean it. Everything is working as it should be. When I say about "benefit from a service" I mean that, in general, every camera should be checked before a serious project. That's all. The camera is optically mint, as you can see in the (heavily compressed) photos I uploaded, the lens is crystal clear, the lightmeter works just fine, motor runs smothly, etc, etc.

There is an original battery too (which still has some life!) and of course the charger.

The camera will be put on Ebay if there is no interest here.

  5. I'm selling a Beaulieu 4008 M3 model. This is the "pro" model with the manual zoom Schneider lens and a different body finish. The camera is in full working condition (tested without film) but since it hasn't been used for at least the last 2-3 years it will surely benefit from a service. The lens is clear, no fungus, no scratches, no nothing. The battery is recelled (450mAh). If anyone is interested, please contact me.I can send many photos. Camera is located in Greece, PayPal for payments accepted. Price? xmmm...due to rarity and the overall very good condition:

    650 $US.

  6. Sam, Rollei made only 2 cameras by themselves (the later sound models which are really really rare, XL8 and XL12, if my memory serves me well, 1800 and 1200 pieces respectively).

The rest of the Rollei cameras (SL 81-82-83-84-85) are just rebadged Bauers. They seem pretty cool though compared to the Bauers...

I happen to have the full range of Rollei cameras and I can say that the Rollei-Bauer cameras seem more reliable to me compared to the Rollei-Rollei ones! These are very fragile and it's difficult to find a full working model (it's dificult in either case to because of theire rarity). Fortunatelly, I have 2 of the 1200 pieces, both in very good working condition

  7. George, do you think you could've made your own thread for your camera rather than hijacking mine. I actually had questions regarding my camera and set this thread up to be able to answer them. Your post in this thread is strictly to advertise your camera on a shorter auction and lower price than mine.

    <_< nice.

Anyway, thanks again to those of you who have actually answered my questions, and perhaps I can use George's auction to answer questions I might have as well...so it's all good, George... :D cheers

    Rob

First of all, neither of us should be posting our auctions here, there is indeed a dedicated forum for this.

    2. Your questions were strictly about the starting price of your camera and the value of the camera, I TOO answered your question.

    3. Rick, Alex and me were the only persons that replied about your EBAY question, so to thank just the 2 is...rude...especially if you can REALLY ask me questions about the camera itself...

    4. Alex asked me the link of my auction, I didn't put it in the first place...

    5. Do you really believe that I will "steal" some bidders from you? I'm in Europe, you are in the states (and don't ship overseas!), we won't have the same bidders, believe me. The fact that my auction ends sooner is a + to you, not to me.

At the end of the day, if you, or anyone else want me to remove the link, no problem, I will do it right away.

Anyway, you can still ask me technical questions about the camera.

    George

  8. You can start an auction at 1 cent and what happens is the nibblers, just for kicks, start putting in low ball bids. 19 bucks, 39 bucks, 99 bucks...etc...

What this does however is it hooks them all into the auction as they get notified when they are outbid...

Sometimes if the auction price starts to high, all the nibblers don't nibble, move on to other auctions, and suddenly you have to hope for 2 or 3 sniper bidders (bidding in the last minute of the auction) to kick the price up that 500 bucks.

I couldn't agree more. I achieved the best prices for the cameras I sell, when I started the auction at 1 English pound. You attract more people this way. It's not as risky as it seems. A good tested camera, in full working condition, usually sells for what is supposed to sell, rarely though, someone get a bargain. So, here is my Canon 1014XL-S starting at 1 british pound. Let's all see what will happen.
