  1. Hi , probably I'm crazy but check this and give me some feedback.
  2. Great! well the image in the photos is at maximun zoom and was a cloudy day I dont think this lens will suck up more than 1 f-stop.
  3. Thanks, I will go for the 7212T and and work more on the light levels.
  4. Hi, I'll like to know which is the preferred stock for shooting low grain interior using maximun aperture for short deph of field in a scene using tungsten lights. My camera is a scoopic 16mm, I have read some Kodak sugestions but I need some recomendations from people in the forum. Thanks, Rolando
  5. Yes , I just canibalize the scoopic it can be handheld, just below the lens in the front film housing I made 2 small drills holes and fit an aluminum rod support bolted from the inside. The trick is that the adapter moves back and forth as you focus but it is keep horizontal. Were I live is very dificult to find parts for this , so I try to made it myself. good luck!
  6. Hi, how you gona fit the kowa in the 72mm canon lens? my knowledge is that kowa is a smaller lens and you need to zooming inside the lens. For the la7200 I just made my own support, for the anamorphic suppot get an old 72mm skylight filter break the glass , cut away the excess metal ring in the la7200 adapter, screw on both parts , the focus ring of the scoopic will fit and allow to focus perfect just keep the adapter horizontaly.
  7. soon I'll post the final footage with a frame reference chart.
  8. Hi , here some photos of my experiment with the LA7200 adapter
  9. I'm looking for a scoopic 16mm battery cover, I will buy it.
  10. Hi, I also have a Frezzolini LW16 with a standard angenieux zoom witch soon will be test it also with LA7200 anamorphic. I know that 16:9 is aprox. 1.5x anamorphic. Please contact if someone found more info. on this issue!
  11. Thanks Matt, this adapter compress anamophicaly without vinetting all the way to minimun zoom 12.5mm my expectation on this lens is that the 16mm 1.33:1 format can be streched in post to 16:9 ratio, if this is true then I just convert my scoopic to "ultra 16". I'm crazy to watch the test footage!!!
  12. Thanks for reply, yes the scoopic focus ok without the macro and complete zooming also. I will shoot some test footage and post the results here, my consern is in the quality or capability for deph of field. Thanks.
  13. Hi , Someone here have test a panasonic LA 7200 widescreen converter in front of a Canon Scoopic lens? This converter is design for video cameras but I just fit one on a Scoopic camera and looks like it focus ok.
