  1. Hi I'm having real problem sorting out this calibration thing for my monitor, Sony 9" CRT Field monitor. First of all it's a PAL monitor so apparently it's not the same procedure as for NTSC when it comes to getting broadcast color bars and calibration. I can't find any Broadcast PAL Color Bars for calibration anywhere on the internet. This is starting to worry me. Any suggestions? I basically need to find color bars footage somewhere and some tutorial on how to calibrate it. I use DVX100AE, M  ac and FCP/AE. Cheers! Ibbi

  3. I just bought the new Indifocus follow focus unit and I tried it and it feels a bit wobbly and not smooth at all. Is that normal? I have only used follow focus for 16mm and 35mm cameras. I hope I don't have to send it back to the US. I'm in London. I was going to use it for my up coming film. Any help greatly appreciated. Maybe I´m doing something wrong. Fingers crossed. Cheers, Ívan

  7. Hi there Does anyone have the faintest idea on how to calibrate a SONY PVM-9044QM monitor? And one more thing, since I 'm at it. Which is better to use, SVHS or BNC cable for the DVX100A to SONY PVM-9044QM monitor? I heard the image quality was better if you use SVHS...hmm Cheers!
  8. Thanks for your quick reply Mitch. Yes, that's right. So it should work. I'll take the risk. Thanks a lot Mitch
  9. Hi there Thanks for an excellent film community. I just bough a used monitor, SONY PVM-9044QM. I bought batteries online as well: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BATTERY-PACK-FOR-SON...ksid=p1638.m124 I just received the batteries and I didn't want to open them before being absolutely sure they were the right ones for the monitor. So my question is can I use these batteries with this monitor? NP1-B Ni-MH 14.4V. If not I have to send them back. Cheers!
