I have a shoot planned for this weekend. The weather is supposed to be very overcast and rainy. While it is an Int. shoot, there are very large bay windows in the location. This is not the look I wanted. closing the shades is not an option as 1. it is a light source 2. they need to be open for the story.
What are some tricks to hide the rain? any experiences like this ?
best,

I had an intern on my last show... and the camera crew worked his ass off, don't know if I had time to even talk more than five minutes with him per day unfortunately, so whatever he learned about how I did things would have had to been through observation.
david..or anyone else...
is it fair that they worked his ass off while working for free? shouldn't he be learning? He isnt a camera PA...he is an intern. difference right ?

I think the dollying in and out are the moves I want to use the most. I am just worried that the wheelchair rig would be to cumbersome for a small push in.

Hello,
I am shooting a short next month. I have just been informed that most (all) the budget is going in to set dressing and our actors. There will be no money for a dolly.
Handheld would not be appropriate.
Anyone have ideas on how one could create camera movement on limited budget?

I wonder if they get paid extra when they have lines?
I'm pretty sure they at least have to get scale if they have a speaking part.

An idea I've always wanted to try was to shoot tungsten-balanced stock outdoors uncorrected for a cool look, but use a Color Enhancer filter to make the reds saturated. This may be a chance to test out that trick...
How exactly does that give a "cool" look?

I am shooting a short next week. The location is an apartment. shooting b&w 16mm. I am looking to do most of my lighting with Practicals... any tips? The location also has two giant windows that should bring in alot of natural light.
Thanks,

Could someone please explain the process of anamorphic photography, and what the advantages and dis-advantages are ?
5d rig?

If a rig were to be built... could I shot a moving video panorama from 4 5d' s and stitch them together without phase and shutter issues? Would the 7d or the d300s work as well.
any downsides?
Thanks.
