It Appears the raw format jp4 is not supported for any software, is it true?, and it must to transcode to DNG, then is no better to use cinemaDNG how native raw format? According to Adobe, cinemaDNG is unencrypted and free from intellectual property encumbrances or license requirements. It appears the logic option.

Are you sure? Negative film is about 14-15 stops, Sony F35 about 13...
