  1. We designed our own titles and pasted them in the cutting but it looked very digital, it had no grain, and it did nt moved us. So we printed them on matted paper, i photographed them with my analog photo camera (on a smaller part of the 35mm frame to archieve a 16mm look) I got them developed, and scanned them on my negative scanner. I made about 15 photos from every title (of course i placed all the titles on one paper) The cutting was a lot of work, in photoshop, but when i saw the result i was very pleased with it
  2. you can find the trailer on www.shoeboxproductions.nl its shot on an outdated 20meter kodak vision2 200t 16mm film, its in the tradition of the nouvelle vague movies, and you can even see a redhead reflection in the window smile.gif. this film is shot in 5 hours and edited in 3 hours. In three weeks we will shoot a short movie, the camera is now in the uk for a s16mm configuration. We shot it on an eclair acl with an angenieux 15-150mm lens. We used three red heads and one kino flo.

  4. ive used an eumig sound 65 xl camera, all these super8 camera's are made for hobbyists. handeling this camera can be compared with playing the guitar. there is a exposure offset knob, you can rise it with one stop and 1 stop the the other side. you zoom on a grey scale and then you adjust it, till it meters the same as on your external light meter. while shooting there is a exposure stop knob, so you put your hand in front of the lens or something else, till the right stop in your viewfinder appears, you keep pushing it while your shooting. The lens was pretty sharp, after the telecining we have putted a unsharp mask as an additional layer, to soften the picture. i hope this make sens

  9. Hey guys what do you think about this deal, iam a film student in amsterdam, and i would love to buy a s16 mm camera, is this a good deal, and what questions should i ask to the seller? thanx
  10. i live in holland (amsterdam) and i really love this camera, i would love to buy it, how much would it cost including sending the package to my home country?
  11. Thanx adrian and Tim, its always great to get a confirmation from you guys. i will post some footage as soon as possible. Because we have a build in filter (wratten 85), and now a external filter with nd added to it, we can shoose for every light situation, what filter to use. So i dont have to buy a nd, and thats great news. peace let film live forever
  12. Anyway thanks, but of cours i want to be sure; because film is a expensive thing. And we already did our test films on several stocks, so we really have to begin filming for real... here is the link showing comparable filter stocks; http://photobutmore.de/vintagephoto/filter/filtervergleich/ I did the spot metering again and again but it showed the 25 asa rating again and again (ektachrome 64 asa rating) it should be great if there is somebody out here familiair with the ceneiplan r12 2* filter. Does somebody know how to explain de '2*' thing int filter code? greets Jeroen van der Poel
  13. Hey, i wanted to share the next problem with you guys; i ve bought a second hand ceneiplan r 12 2* filter. The owner of the filter told me that it must be a 85 filter. ive just found a article about filters, and it seems to be, that the r 12 2* filter is the same as a 85 kodak wratten series. Because i plan to work with this filter i wanted to know what exposure rate should be the good one. Im working with ektachrome 64t so with a filter attached to the lens the exposure rating should be 40 asa;regarding the kodak site. After i did a spot measuring through the filter and rated it at 64 asa, i did the same measuring on the same spot without the filter, my meter told me that 25 asa should be the equivalent. So iam very confused right now, because maybe i do the wrong thing. Can somebody tell me how to rate the exposure with this filter attached to my lens. greets Jeroen van der Poel
