HELLO, IM FROM ARGENTINA, I HAVE A BOLEX EBM S16mm , THE CAMERA DONT HAVE THE BATERY BASE CONNECTION , ONLY THE 7 pin sockets ON THE BASE OF THE CAMERA, THE PROBLEM IS: I HAVE ONE CABLE , ONE SIDE WHIT 7 pin sockets MALE (TO THE CAMERA), AND IN THE OTHER SIDE 5 pin sockets (TO BATTERY), AND THE BOTTON ON/OFF CAMERA.

THE PQM ( CRYSTAL CONTROL UNIT ) HAVE ONE OUT 7 pin sockets FEMALE, ALL THIS WORK GOD IF YOU HAVE THE BATERY BASE , THIS ONE HAVE 2 7pin sockets SO YOU CAN CONECT ONE TO CAMERA AND THE OTHER ONE TO THE PQM, BUT IN ME CASE I DONT NOW HOW TO DO THE CONNECTIONS , SOMEONE CAN HELP ME , IS VERY IMPORTANT , THANK AND SORRY FOR ME BAD ENGLISH.

hello, sometimes work in a low budget produccion, for interiors i use practical ligths whit dimmers, and make 3 white boxes in bouncing material ( stikos, polis, etc) , sometimes 6f x 3f sometimes 2f x 2f , and put inside a 500 k or 200k bulbs, depend if is a night or day situacion use difernt caint of bulbs ( photolites, regular white tungsteng, dayligths) or sometimes for the big boxes i use 3 1 k quartz, bouncing in the back of the box, all the time y use difutions on the front of the boxes, depend how difusse in need the source i use double difutiosn in diferents layers of the boxes, is good idea use dimmers , and you can play whit diferents gels for change the color.

you can use 2 or 3 ballom tungsten, like fill , and in the cherrypiker use two 10 k fresnel like back ligth , a base of fog help you for see the haze of the backlight, whit a couple ok 5 k and 2 k in stands , you can paint the frame even more, bye

hello, i have a bolex ebm super 16, i buy the control cristal unit from bolex, y do some test , an the camera in sync position go 24 % more faster , so i can have the sync in 24 fps, but i need acelerate the take 24% percent for have the take in sync whit the sound, that is not so good, becouse i loose 24 % of the virgin stock, i send me camera this week to one repare to one guy in argentina, i think the problem was the energy , when i have a answer for the tecnik i write more info about this problem .
