Leigh Elford

One thing about me is I usually don't talk/write about myself. I am however attending film school in New Zealand. I had a couple of years work after leaving school. I went from dairy farming in the most remote of places to road construction in the heart of city's. Needless to say I travelled the country a bit. Taking in the pleasure of my surroundings. After a couple of years I decided that yes film school was where I need to be. My love and passion for the moving image lead me to study at Unitec. After my first year I decided to major in cinematography. Actually I always wanted to study the art of camera from the very beginning. My love of images probably came from my mother who always took photographs. Her profession was a forensic photographer. However I didn't start my own photography until I was 20. Now at 22 I'm learning cinematography. Well thats my story.
