i like this place.

It records 1080/60i, using a 3:2 pulldown to spread 24 frames across 60 fields, just like the HVX-200. So it's 24P capture, and 1080i recording.

When you say "24p capture, and 1080i recording", you mean the actual footage you upload and playback is not a true '24-fps-progressive frames a second' ? So does the camera automatically interlaces the footage, making it a not-actual 24 progressive frames ?

I shot some footage a few months ago for a short film. I'll post it soon. But one of the posters above is right -- a lot of the compressed video online looks the same.

I'm making a film in the next couple of months and the majority of my scenes I want to be done in what I believe is called a Snorri cam, it was utilizes in Pi and in Requiem for a Dream, and that is where I got the name, basically it looks like a steadi cam turned onto the actor, what I need to know is, how can I do this shot, is there a special setup for that particular shot, or can I pull it off with just a steadi cam, if anyone knows I would really appreciate any input I can get.

When I was in college, a friend did a real simple scene with something called a RHINO CAM. i never actually saw it, but it basically emulated the Requiem for a Dream/Pi shots you're talking about.

My friend's shots were kinda cool looking, but also awkward because he used them just for the sake of using them. the shots totally didn't fit with his scene project.
