So it is my feeling that the longer more I read about electronics, the more confused I get. Making a voltage regulator seems very simple, but I suck at math. Trying to find heat dissipation through resistors, and thus getting a resistor that can handle the load is confusing me.

Hello again, San Diego.

Well, the USB port on my Marshall monitor broke on while my gear was on the truck. I think I may try to replace it with a Lemo connector. This is why I need a real monitor.

This is a rather precarious setup.
