Hi all,
I recently picked up a Pro8mm-modified Beaulieu 4008 in great shape, and it came with a Computar TV-Zoom 12.5-75 f/1.2. Obviously, it breathes like the devil. :) On the assumption that I'm OK with never zooming, I'm wondering if there are any other problems with using c-mount TV zooms on super-8?
Specifically, I've noticed that when I stop down, the image in the viewfinder doesn't begin to darken until about f/4 on the lens barrel. I'm assuming this is because it was designed for a larger sensor, probably 1/2 or 2/3." Does this mean my metering will be off?
I'd greatly appreciate any input, and recommendations for replacement lenses. I'm saving up for a lens to replace it, perhaps an Angenieux, but I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks very much!

Hi all!
The topic pretty much says it... Anyone have one sitting around, that they want to unload?
Thanks much!

Thanks for your recommendations, I'll start looking into some of those lenses.
Any advice on my question RE: exposure with this lens?
