  1. My short film was shot with video. The present day shots will be in black and white(don't ask why, that's how I want it). There are three flashbacks and at the moment, I have them in color. What I want to do is create an interesting look, like perhaps washing it out or heavy saturation. I want it to really stand out as it goes back to a better time in the lead's life. Any HELPFUL suggestions are welcome. I am editing with Final Cut Express, if this helps.

  2. You could apply fog in post, where you can control how much you want in the scene. It's definitely cheaper than renting a fog machine.

hey everyone.  i have a shoot coming up where we plan on shooting in areas where we plan on creating a light haze atmosphere with a fog machine, nothing too thick, but where there is enough fog to create a smoky atmosphere and you can see the lines of the lights.  my question is: how does this kind of atmosphere effct exposure?  do i have to compensate at all for the fog, or will everything be ok if i simply trust my light meter?  thanks.

  3. It's very cool that you get to work with such a great actor as Laurence Fishburne(correct spelling). It's also cool to see Angela Bassett and Mr. Fishburne working together again after each gave such great performances in 'What's Love Got to Do with It'. I'm really looking forward to seeing this picture.

  4. Your ultimate information resource and community for Panasonic 3 CCD camcorders including the PV-GS400, PV-GS200, PV-GS120, PV-DV953 and the PV-GS70. http://www.pana3ccduser.com/ I own a gs-120 and this site as been so helpful.

    Hey,

Anyone use the GS-120 or 200?

I need one of these to work on my starter movie. I will use it them to apply for a grant as I need a body of work.

    Chris
