Just saw Hobbit in IMAX 3d. It's a mixed bag. The 3d was way too in your face and fast and gave me a massive headache and eye strain. It just felt like a big video game. Their was no tension nor wow factor and it was very numbing. The RED Epic cameras they used were also a disservice to the film. You could see all the actors makeup caked on and their wasn't enough resolution (only a 2k finish) to be blown up to IMAX . Overall the movie is good but it did not have the magic and beauty of the...
