Javon McGriff

Greetings and Salutations,

My name is Javon McGriff. I have been writing since I was 7 years old, mostly horror. i got in to directing when I was 11 and figured that my friends would actually help bring my scripts to life. I love the aspect of evoking emotion from the audience and providing a form of escapism for them. Currently, I attend Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA, studying filmmaking.

I completed an internship on an independent film a few years ago and that has motivated me to take my scripts to the next level and start getting them in to production. I am more than proficient in writing and editing, and am also available as Production Assistant or various other roles that need to be filled. Overall, I just enjoy being onset and helping realize a vision, whether it be my own or someone elses.
