The company was originally called Super8 Sound, and was founded in 1972 by a group of entrepreneurs who invented sound for super 8 film. The belief was that Super 8 held tremendous potential as a production medium. We have held these founding principles for nearly 40 years, pushing super 8 to its maximum potential for both production and archiving.

We are your one stop worlflow for highly evolved rebuilt super 8 and 16mm cameras, film, processing and scanning in gorgeous native 1080 HD or SD.

Our products include highly evolved Super 8 and 16mm cameras with modern 16 x 9 aspect rations (Max 8 and Max 16), custom loaded negative and reversal film stock reformatted from Kodak and Fuji 35mm, same day award winning processing, native 1080 HD scanning for regular 8, super 8 and 16mm to NTSC or PAL, with or without sound, SD scanning.
