I may consider downloads for TV Series that don't require Hi-Def Audio, such as Sherlock. However, for TV shows that have loads of explosions and also for movies I will always want them as physical media.

The Bay does know how to make a good car chase.

Same here. More and more directors are giving us little treats withing the final credits nowadays.

I really enjoyed it (far more than Hunger Games) but my girlfriend also had issues with Charlize, namely her slow drooling voice.
Great cinematography though.
Fave line: Dwarfs wading through sewage. One complains about being surrounded by Poo, to which Ray Winstone exclaims in his own unique way as he looks down "I think that was one of mine" Cracking.

Ah, apparently there were saved according to Wikipedia:
In order to accurately depict the transatlantic flight, three replicas at a cost of $1.3 million (equal to $11,278,509 today) were made of the "Spirit of St. Louis" for the various film units stateside, in Europe, and for studio work. A similar Ryan Brougham was bought by Stewart and modified with Lindbergh's supervision. It was donated to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan by Stewart in 1959, and a second replica at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The third replica is displayed in the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis. :)
Good to know they are all safe and being looked after.

Every few years there's a feature about how the British Film Industry is going to do this or going to do that and nothing ever happens.

Personally I think the shaky cam suited the particular scene at the beginning.

Go wide man.

Well I've seen it 5 times now plus I have already pre-ordered the Blu-ray Steelbook from Amazon.de.

Bring it on Mr. Nolan.

Would there be a discernible difference between 2K and 4K on say a 120" screen viewed from 13 feet?

I really liked the look of this movie. I just hope that they hire Fincher to direct the 2 sequels along with his crew. I really liked the opening sequence, superb.

Ooh I like all these viral ads.

Really big screen to see the movie the way it was intended. Superior sound system to hear the movie the way it was intended. Communal experience that enhances the enjoyment of nearly any motion-picture.
I hate the communal experience.

It has always amazed me how two countries so close to each other can have such differing ideas of how films look and are funded.

Will be my first 3D movie at the cinema since the fiasco that was Green Hornet. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Great director+ great cast=amazing film, hopefully

I rather enjoy these little back story films, just like those webisodes you see from some TV shows.
-
Way too expensive for my liking, especially if I'm going to end up owning the movie on Blu-ray anyway.
-
Fincher's remake is superb, you won't be disappointed.
-
There will always be a need for physical media as far as movies are concerned.

Maybe the UK film makers should collaborate with the US studios initially then once they gain market share go it alone.
-
I am so stoked for this movie.

I found the movie very classy. Style with substance.
Prometheus trailer is finally up!

Could and should have been darker.
