  1. I finally got a website online with most of the stuff I've dp'd on during the past years. Now I've pretty much just added everything I could get my hands on.

I would be extremely happy to hear some comments on what you'd do differently and what you think could be removed? If something feels amateurish or pointless then please let me know, no need to be polite!

You can find the website here: mikaelg.com

Best regards and thank you in advance,

    Mikael Gustafsson

I enjoyed the simplicity of your site and how it highlights your work. I particularly enjoy the Cannes 2009 commercial.

Maybe it will be even better if you have your showreel easily accessible and highlighted as the first video on the site?

    Cheers,

    Pete

  2. That's cute. The iPhone actually produces some fairly nice pictures in those circumstances, don't you think?

It's also a very fashionable look, that slightly crazy stop-motion thing. How long did it take you to do it?

Thanks Phil. It was a fun challenge to keep exposure constant with the iPhone. I locked it but kept having to refocus and expose.

Took two of us a couple of days to plan and about 8 hours of shooting.

  3. Please critique my work. This was shot for the True Music Store Application for the iPhone and Android in Thailand.

It is stop motion and shot on iPhone 4S, mainly because of their budget restriction, but the client did love how the mobile app was shot by a mobile phone.

Let me know what you think! It's my first paid stop motion gig.

    Cheers,

    Pete
