How many big time movies have been shot with XL1's? If so do they turn out good on screen? Alex

My motivation for making the movie is to gain experience becuase this is what I want to do, make movies. The script is near completion and will be ready to shoot by spring. The film is a comedy. Im not an experienced director but Im trying to find a director that has some experience and is willing to let me co-direct. What could I do? Alex

Im not really that experienced but I remember when I helped a local director I ran the clapper and I shouted: The Movie title, Scene number, and take number. So like, The Shunned scene 4 take 4. Something like that. Alex

Even if I used a boom mic, when I go and edit all the scenes together wouldnt it sound all weird? Alex

Im looking to shoot my first film this spring and I have a question. When working with sound and switching the angle of the camera how do i make it where it sounds good and not like its a different scene everytime I switch angles? Did that make any sense? I didnt think I would make anything from it. But would it be possible? Come on who doesnt like a stupid funny movie with lots of boobies. Also I have noticed that there arent a lot of straight to DVD comedies. They are mostly horrors and serious movies is this true or are there a lot of comedies straight to DVD. Alex

What is the actual process to make a music video? Do you play the song while your shooting and they sing with it then when your done shooting do you just play the track over the video? I have no clue how to shoot one so thats why I ask. Alex

OK another quick question. The high school let us barrow the camera over the weekend and we were messing around with the camera to see what kind of shots we could do and when we plugged it into my wide screen it looked weird on the edges. Im not sure how to explain it but it didnt look right. Do I have to let a wide screen lens? Alex
