i dont think a indian film will be available but i heard about a RAhul Bose film "Everybody says i am fine" which was shot on dv did pretty well abroad. the things you are talikng about are old things have realy changed, recently i worked in a Albert Brooks film with D.O.P Thomas Ackerman(A.S.C), he was shocked to see the setup's here which never expected in India and was really satisfied. Other popular film shot in india was "Bourne supremacy".

what lenses do you suggest work best for xl1's

I have been working in bollywood for almost 2yrs now venturing as Production asst. to Asst. Director to lighting dept and at present in grips dept. making my way into cinematography. The scene here is very happening loads of work and quality stuff. in past 2yrs i've seen a lot of forgien D.O.P's coming to India for work and some looking for work trying there luck but still a lot of work and but still no over population of people in the industry but that stage is not very far.

i'll be doing this in a room not a very big one with 3 kino flows in hand, what could be the possible light setup with the green look i wanted.

I'm shooting on Canon Xl1 frame rate mode. If i under expose all the scene at put it right on post will i get good contrast and colour saturation or it won't make any difference.

Can somebody please tell me what effect does a Rosco Glass gives. would love to see some stills as examples. Thanks a lot

I have seen in a lot of films specially in scene's shot in car parking areas there is a greenish tint in the frame, kind of in matrix. How do v get that on a canon Xl1, is that with some filters on camera, by lighting methods or on post.

I'm shooting on Canon Xl1 with frame rate 24p mode, what meter settings do i need to do for that.

the shot is to show outside world in contrast with hyper reality in a room where most of the film is being shot with XL1. What i was lookiing for is to show outside world very pale, de-saturated and extremely low contrast. thanks

I need to take a exterrior shot very pale with just people walking totally de-saturated how do i do that

i have to shoot in a very small room and do a very low key lighting with a lot of shadows, totally dramatic. kind of one point lighting, where should i place the light and which light. thanks a lot

I need to take a shot in a lift where the main character that is the liftman sits on his chair and talking to the camera in normal speed whereas in the same frame the other people entering and exiting the lift are in a fast motion. Please help me on how to implement this shot. Thanks a lot

i'm using a canon Xl1 and hv to see wat lenses are available how can i do the lighting bit and wud any filter enhance its look

. the lift wud be big enough to accomodate 10 people, maximum 5 people wud be there in the lift, the lift is not moving, budget for lighting n camera is very good . there are too looks i want one would be a natural residential lift loook but i personally like high contarst look and whites not all that white the other look is kind of a stage look with spot lighting where there will be a lot of shadows please guide me on how to achieve this thanks a lot
