for the film am shooting on canon XL1 is it totally neccessary to use a light meter but if i get access to one what settings do i hv to make on that plz guide me on that n if dere will difference in ext n int setting and also plz guide me on how to do lighting in a lift i cant afford to build one but hv permission to shoot in thnx

i'll be shooting on PAL and its the production which is a problem low budget i've got my own editing Avid Xpress setup so no money involved dere

i am making a film on DV and for post i hv options between machines like velocity, media100, FCP & Avid Xpress wat i want to knw is that in India i pay double for avid and FCP as compared to velocity and media 100 so wud dere b a difference in quality too if not then wat am i paying double for coz my film wud hv basic cut to cut editing its jus good quality am craving for

guys am making a film on Canon XL1 is dere any process or method by which v can achieve film quality or even get close to it plz give advice it will be of big help also let me knw if its possible in post production

This is my first post and need a lot of help. as part of our college project we are making a film on canon XL1 entirely being shot in a elevator, can u guys plz give suggestions on how to and with wat lights can i light up d lift and also other advices if possible ....i'll be greatful
