  1. sorry to say that the picture you show is NOT an IVS-HD, it's a PAL (analog) video ... please modify that for the clarity of your offer ! OR (maybe) you have a CONVERTER built-in into the back v-lock plate, but still this has nothing to compare with a REAL HD system ...

I never heard of any ARRI modification into their IVS into HD ... I'd be surprised

  2. you can also ask SHURCO tools in California, they are making GG on request ... IF NOT, and if you are needing the ARRI original frame for these, get in touch with CHARLIE Mc GOUGH @ camerarental.nl as he probably still has many BL GG left in stock as he sold all those BL (1/2/3/4/4s) cameras which he bought back from a Cy called MONEV (Belgium) years ago ... tell him you received this trick from Philippe

  3. can you show REAL pictures please, to see all accessories and the way they are looking. These pictures seem to be from ARRI and not relevant to the condition of the used gear. Thanks !

you can also send private message if you prefer.

  4. Hello

I'd love to get some more details if you may do so:

front diameter of all lenses ? 80mm ?

focus rotation from infinity to min focus: reaching 330° ?

    minimum focus for each lenses

can we attach a clip-on mattebox (such as LMB-5, filters 4x56) on the front ? strong enough front barel (back then we didn't use those "heavy clip-on" but ARRI LMB-2 / LMB-3 being 3X3 or 4X4 ?

what's the distance between front of lens and iris ring ?

you can also send PM (with additional pictures) to: julieormond@gmail.com

thanks for your prompt reply, i might be very interested

  5.  I do confirm that only a VERY FEW rental, houses (away fro ARRI RENTAL) are (very) lucky owners of a 2P movement for an ARRICAM.

Even Vantage Film dores not have any...

They tried to locate some for ages, but never found any for sale

Transpacam in Paris do own a 2P Arricam LT (now leased in Brussels @ Eye-Lite Group) but they will never sell it, as this camera still goes out on rentals from time to time, and it rents @ a high price

ARRI RENTAL is extremely expensive on this rental as they know how valuable is this movement ...

I guess ARRI UK and CSC might also have one or more ? maybe ... or they simply fly them from Munich when needed ?...

I do not recommend you anymore Penelope, even if this was a GREAT camera back 15 years ago, as Aaton has been sold out, no one over there is still able to repair, and there are no more spares at all.

We know very well their (former) camera technician, who now maintains Cantar's and nothing else.
The company who bought Aaton (Transvideo International) did not keep ANY parts for Aaton cameras (S16/35) and the great inventor Jean Pierre Beauviala passed away a few years ago ...

ONLY those rental houses who bought a Penelope and sent their camera tech for training could help you.

I was able, with my friend who went training to make this happen.

Our camera got sold out for a ridiculous price back 10 years ago (not even €20K).

That camera FJS International is trying to sell since months at this crazy price belongs to TSF cameras in Paris.

And nobody will  pay such a high price of course .... furthermore this camera has been running many thousands of hours, so you would be buying "a cat in a bag" with no warranty at all it's still quiet enough.

That's my feeling, to share !

and YES, ANDRE MARTIN, AT AM CAMERAS, IS THE ONE CLOSE TO YOU

PS: there is on this platform a GREAT camera still available for sale: a MOVIECAM SL Mk2 which is a great one, wold as a bindle with MANY magazines (all of them ...) but it's 3 and 4 perfs...

    best regards and good luck

  7. Hi Jani

a question about your set: the 24mm is an L or an SSC , or none of those ...

I am, interested in buying your set, but can you contact me PM (julieormond@gmail.com) or my colleague philippe piron (philippepiron@skynet.be)

  8. Cooper, there is a Moviecam SL mark 2 selling on this website, as well as on steadicamforum.com if you are still looking for such a camera. I shot with this camera 2 years ago, it's in great shape and the owner hasn't used it that much since then? it's a private owned camera with big variety of all available magazines for this camera (400' shoulder & steadicam)(500' studio, and 1000' studio, both types are magnesium)
