  1. You can download info on exposure compensation for macros here: http://www.arri.de/sub/gb/rental/cam/ti/index.htm Use your lightmeter like you always do and then correct the stop according to the lens settings. (or have your AC do that....) You don't have to change your stop when using diopters. What periscope do you plan to use? You'll need a lot of light. At least a T8.
  2. Do this various places include ARRI? If not, write them an e-mail or call them. Usually they are very helpful.
  3. Cine60 build battery blocks with built in chargers that can be switched from 24V to 30V. I take them with me on every shooting. For example when shooting highspeed with a 435 it's standard to use those switched to 30V. I don't know what power connecter the Mitchell uses, but it shoulb be piece of cake to build a cable that connects the battery to the camera.
  4. Vantage Film make a filter that gives you the horizontal flares of anamorphic Panavision lenses. http://www.vantagefilm.com/en/news/index_28.shtml
  5. Be shure to get in touch with the airline early and don't leave that to the production company alone. Most airlines hate to see metal flightcases, so the mentioned cardboard boxes are a good idea. Bring some Gaffertape in your handluggage, just in case you have to open a box for inspection, so you can reseal it properly. I always take the lenses with me. Find out if the lenscases can be stored under your seat or, if there's no other way, on your lap.
