  1. Hello! I'm looking for a book for newbie that covers modern as well as classic lighting techniques with lots of sample pictures explained on how to create moods with lighting. I don't need it to be very technical, but about what ideas are behind lighting in sample shots and how they were implemented. I've recently read this book on cinematography "The Filmmaker's Eye" by Gustavo Mercado, I liked it very much and actually looking for something similar but in terms of lighting. https://www.amazon.com/Filmmakers-Eye-Learning-Cinematic-Composition/dp/0240812174 I've read also a tad of "Lighting for Cinematography: A Practical Guide to the Art and Craft of Lighting for the Moving Image" by David Landau, but i didn't find any samples in preview of this book so i'm not sure about buying it. Thanks a lot!
