I’m looking to either buy or create some blimps for my Kinor 16 systems. The main goal is general sound dampening to allow better audio recording in close environments. While Aapo’s custom sync motors are quiet, and a recently CLA’d camera will help to reduce noise, there is still noticeable sound without a blimp. I’m curious to see if there are any options viable for purchase, or if I should try to fabricate my own. I’m capable of fabricating if so, but would want to know what options as far as material I should try to go for. Any knowledge or guidance helps. -

Can one put a matte box on: a K3, Kinor 16mm and/or Scoopic MS? Do I need to know a particular thread size. Forgive me if this is a dumb question Also can one load short ends that are under 400ft into a 400ft magazine, so say for example a 290ft short end into a 400ft magazine?
