grantsmith
Hello, In my continuing obsession with buying old super8 film I fond something really odd. It's a 200' roll of Ektachrome 7244. It looks like a regular super8 cartridge but with displacement reel attached (containing the extra 150'). It dosnt fit into any of my cameras (a nizo 156) or an old sankyo. Even if it did I cant imagine how the door would close (unless it is designed for cameras with non swing doors??) Were there s8 cameras designed specifically to take 200' loads? It would be quite impressive to have a continuous 10m s8 shot What is it? It was out of its packaging (but unexposed) so I'd doubt if it could be used even if I did find a camera which could use it. Thanks, Grant

Marty Hamrick
They haven't made 200 foot carts in a long time. The 7244 was discontinued somethime back in the 80's so what you have is probably bad.
Blue Demon
The problem with ordering from Wittner is that you will likely have great-grandchildren before you get a reply from them. I really think they went out of business and forgot to take down their website.
