French market DoP rates

I was wondering if anyone knows of the DoP rates for commercial/advertising production.

while I am at it, how about the rates for the UK as well..

 

I know that there is probably wide range but I any info would me helpful.

Can't help as regards French rates but in the UK a good guide to rates can be found on BECTU union site. As usual all DoP rates are open to negotiation, but for me it helps to have a Union rate which has been, as I understand, agreed with PACT (A Producers Alliance), which you can quote when someone is trying to undercut.

Commercials rate for UK is £1077 for 10

Lower than anywhere else, BTW. In the highest cost of living town.

 

Music videos never pay APA rate - they pay at best £1000 for 16hrs (eight to midnight is standard), often closer to £500-900. Many commercials (disguised as "web content") have started doing the same. London is turning in to a race to the bottom. Add on top of this a fierce competition and far too many DP's and I would stay well clear if you can, unless you're a producer ;)
