Larry Sanbourne
Hi, I'm doing some work that requires extreme portability and need a tripod that fits in a backpack, is super lightweight, and will lift a lightweight camera (iPhone 15, or something similarly sized but better…) to about eye level. Non-professional colleagues have success with consumer-grade tripods like Pixel Maker T3, and I'm just wondering if there's something lighter, more stable, or otherwise better. Many thanks, -L
Joerg Polzfusz
Hi! a) Do you want to lift the camera (like with a crane) or should it stay at eye-level (so that a simple tripod is sufficient)? b) What’s your eye-level? 1.5m or 2m? c) Do you need a video head so that you can do some smooth panning etc.? Or is a photo head sufficient? d) How do you define „stable“? Do you need a ground spreader with weights? e) How large is your backpack? f) There are special tripods for smartphones that have an integrated Bluetooth remote release so that you can start/stop the take without tapping onto the display. Do you need this? Edited January 3 by Joerg Polzfusz
