Emilio Costa, AIC Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. In about a month and a half, I'm going to shoot a short film set almost exclusively at sea at night. It's not just a single isolated scene, but a rather large number of scenes that include wide shots, close-ups, and more. I confess that this is my first time in this kind of context. Has anyone faced a similar situation? Any advice to give me? The look the project requires tends towards a moonlight effect, perhaps combined with the diegetic lights of the boats. I was thinking of a helium balloon attached to a boat at a certain height, has anyone ever tried it? Is it a reasonably safe solution? Any kind of advice is welcome. Thank you very much!
