Jhenderson
I will be using a Panasonic AJ HDC20AP HD camera (60i) for an upcoming student film. This camera is pretty much an ENG camera that we are going to make look as close as possible to film. Pulldowns and de-interlacing will be done in post. We will have a promist filter in the matte box. Since there are no preset film-look settings, everything must be done manually. Does anyone know how to get a film like Gamma by adjusting the settings manually? Any other advice anyone has on other settings too? Black stretch, shutter, knee. Everything I have read, including the texts suggested from school are for cameras that already have these features built in. Any advice on this is greatly appreciated. -Jhenderson PS. We must use this particular camera, there are no alternatives (it comes free of charge from school).
