Joe Lotuaco
This is probably a silly question to be asking, but on a call sheet, what does the notation "D/N" mean? In the D/N column are the notations N3 or N4 or D2. What does this refer too?

Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted November 28, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted November 28, 2005 Yes, D is Day and N is Night. The number refers to the story day. This helps because you may want to lump all of D2's scenes together because probably there are no hair & make-up changes between them, versus shooting a D2 scene, then a D7 scene, then a D2 scene again. Joe Lotuaco
Thanks guys. It amazes me how much thought has to go into making up a shooting schedule. Makes me appreciate the work of the ADs much more.
