Ultra 16mm

These days I was reading a lot about 16mm and S16 :) ...Yesterday I found some info about Ultra 16 conversion...It looks interesting and (cheap ?) alternative to S16 conversion...Can you give more details about Ultra16 vs S16 and normal 16? ....positives and negatives if any...
