seth christian
Any info on this (error 2048) problem would be much appreciated: I've had my 16mm film telecined and Xfered to an uncompressed QT so I can do the video @ home with combustion;however, my computer doesn't seem to want to play the .mov The QT thumbnail says .mov and everything, but when you try to play it in anyway, shape, or form....error 2048 displays, it says, "this is not a .mov file!" The file plays successfully on the company's PC just fine, which is Windows XP Pro, just like mine. Other QT files play just fine. I've uninstalled QT and reinstalled already. I've done google searches about this 2048 error and can't seem to find a remedy. I've proven its not my dvd player's problem. It's not a lack of cpu capabilities or shortage of RAM. I really think it is possibly a component issue or codec issue that my computer just isn't picking up! HELP!
