Features of the Bolex H- 16 EBM:

Electrically driven,Electronically stabilized motor drive, 10, 18, 24, 25 and 50fps. backwind possible, 170º shutter Bolex bayonet mount, auto film loading (for 100ft loads), Accepts 400 magazine (2 included).Basic EBM camera accepts single or double perforated 100' film rolls: magazine and take - up motor (included)permit use of 200' daylight - load rolls or 400' film cores. 1:1 drive shaft, flat base. The camera can by synced for sound (at 24 or 25fps) with the included switchable crystal lock. also permits cord connected sound with accessory sync-pulse generator.

built - in automatic slating system eliminates separate 'clapstick' when filming with sync - pulse unit (not included). The camera can be handheld with the battery in the power grip or it can be mounted on a tripod with an external battery. Precision film registration. Assures genuinely excellent steadiness and frame registration, particularly important when film rewound for special - effects applications and in blow-ups to 35 mm format. Brilliant reflex finder shows image recorded by film at 14X magnification;

Features of the 16-100mm f1.9 POE lens:

This is a very sharp wide range zoom that has a very fast maximum aperture of f1.9 all the way through its range. The lens has a built in light meter so you can use it as a fully auto iris lens if required, it can be used in full manual mode too. The lens has a power zoom function, or can be zoomed manually. The light meter on the, this is the later version which goes up to 400ASA.

The lens requires 3 x PX1 batteries (included) to drive the auto iris and power zoom. This lens covers the super-16 format very well.

Batteries:

The original batteries for this camera were Ni-Cad and these types of batteries are heavy with fairly short life expectancy and they would need to be discharged before recharging otherwise the battery cells would lose capacity. We are supplying a new Nickel Metal Hydride battery which does not need to be discharged before recharging. These batteries are also lighter in weight and are double the capacity of the original.

This camera is supplied with:

power grip with quick release, battery charger with an internal and an external battery, switchable crystal sync lock 24/25fps, body cap, Switar 16-100mm f1.9 POE lens the all necessary cables and connectors for handheld and tripod operation, internal and external batteries, 110/220 volt Bolex charger and copies of instruction manuals for camera, magazines, filter holders and C mount adapter in a solid flight case.
