Guest alfredbot
i want to do an effect for a music video i am doing where i show the film and the edge so i want to shoot some 35mm color positive/slide film (KODAK ELITE CHROME 400). My question is that when i get is processed will they automatically put it in those little white slide cases? is there any way to have them process the film and just cut it into strips like that do with more negatives? sorry if this whole question is off topic. Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted June 8, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted June 8, 2004 You need to work with your lab. Most labs will honor a request to return the processed film unmounted. If you are shooting long lengths, you need to use a lab having a cine-type (continuous) processing machine: http://www.kodak.com/US/en/motion/products...4.4.6.4.6&lc=en Remember, 35mm motion picture cameras normally use film perforated BH-1866. Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted June 8, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted June 8, 2004 Yes, any lab processing 35mm E-6 slide films can return the processed film unmounted. Just be sure they clearly understand your request. Most slide films use KS-1870 perforations, not BH-1866.
