Guest markb
i'm in the planning stages of my first 16mm short film and need some advise on which film stock to use. there are so many and the more i read up on them the more confused i get! the film will be mainly interiors. the look i am want is a pin sharp look with vivd colours high contrast and detailed blacks and shadows, almost a comic book/technicolor look. (i know this is not a fashionable look, but it's what i would like for this subject!) i would like one projection print but the finished film will be telecined and put onto dvd. any advice, or suggestions would be greatly welcomed. thanks Mark
Scott Spears
I'd go with either Kodak 200T or Fuji 250T. The Fuji is a bit cheaper and makes great pictures. Both have good grain structure and are fast enough so that you don't have a giant light package. Scott
