I've never worked with uncompressed HD footage and I'd like to know if I need any special Hard drives or hardware nedeed? Can I cut HD uncompressed footage online? Can I transfer HD uncompressed footage using Firewire? My system is a PowerPC Dual G4 877Mhz , 1.5MB RAM, 400GB at 7600RMP hardrives. This machine has handled DV footage with very decent performace.
