  1. <_< Video cameras are always a tricky thing to consider buying because of how fast technology changes. We can now be talking about HD and most likely HD will be crap in 2010 because Ultra HD could come out then HD ultra ultra will come out after and so far so on.
  2. Does anybody have the experience of bringing unexposed film stock from the US into Mexico?. I'm planing on bringing a few cans of Eterna 500 across the border but I'm afraid Mexican customs would ask me to open up the cans for inspection of something like that. What should I say to them so they can believe that the cans are actually filled with unexposed film and they can not opend them? Same thing when I come back from Mexico, Would American customs officers ask me to open up the cans fo film for inspection or X ray them?
  3. Has anyone have any experience editing with HD on Final Cut Pro HD 5? I've never worked with uncompressed HD footage and I'd like to know if I need any special Hard drives or hardware nedeed? This machine has handled DV footage with very decent performace. Regards Rogelio

    Slow motion for DV

Hi there. I'm shooting a music video and I'd like to have some slow motion shots. I'm shootingwith a DVX-100A. I was told to shoot at 24p with the playback music playing 50% faster. The band would be "playing" their instruments a faster pace. The idea is to slow the footage down 50% in post since they were following the music 50% faster, This method is suppose to give the shot a cool slow mo effect. My question is Does any one have a good a tip on how to sync the footage with the music? Or any other idea on how to shoot slow motion for music videos on DV? Have a good day
