E-6 will be fine, just make sure you give yourself a big enough container, so the film isn't too bunched up in the holder. I used a 4x4 joblo which gave considerable more room than a 35mm holder. Many many thanks!!! Yes, the film uses the E-6 process. As with any color process, good agitation and precise control of time and temperature is important to achieving consistent results.
