Premium Member Michael Nash Posted June 22, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted June 22, 2006 Has anyone tested the XL H1 for its approximate ASA equivalent in 24F mode? I may be using it with a Pro35 adapter and I'm trying to figure the light levels I'm going to need after the 1-2 stop loss from the adapter. Davon Slininger
We were rating the camera at 320 on our recent shoot. Starway is that 320 with the pro35 adapter? Or before the adapter, so 1.5-2 stops down from that with adapter.
Premium Member Brad Grimmett Posted July 10, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted July 10, 2006 Michael, Please let us know how you liked the camera after your job. I'm interested to hear another professionals thoughts.
Mitch Gross
That camera would use the Mini35, not the Pro35.

Yes, you're correct -- the Pro-35 is for 2/3" cameras. I was attempting to distinguish the P+S Technik from other manufacturers (since only the P+S Technik bypasses the Canon's lens), but I goofed on the model. And I may end up using the HVX-200 instead, to test out the DVCPRO-HD post workflow. But either way I'll try to post a follow-up.
