Guest Roman Latkovic
We are making a documentary about a sculptor / painter. The guy is 77 years old (funny fact - he had 7 wives and has 7 children) so there is an extensive archive full of newspapers clips, magazine covers, family photos in addition to his paintings. I'd like to have this shoot on 16mm and transferred to HD so we can incorporate that footage into the editing process and the final product. If this is a good approach what should we use ? camera / lenses. Thank you all! Edited November 5, 2006 by Roman Latkovic
Robert Hughes
If you're planning an HDTV 16:9 final product you'll probably want to shoot in Super 16, which has a more compatible framing than standard 16. Other than that, you're golden.
